The Retreat dates are Oct 19th-24th, however most Iceland flights are overnight, so we recommend flight departure Tuesday night October 18th, and arriving Wednesday morning of the 19th in order to take full advantage of all the time we have. (We will not have any planned excursions on day 1.)

We recommend purchasing your flight as soon as possible, but no later than August (especially with the increase of gas prices). 

Keep in mind, some of the overnight flights land as early at 6:30am - 9:45am, and we are unable to check into the hotel until 2pm. We will push for an early check in, however that is not always guaranteed.  

Be mindful of your overall flight time, If you can avoid it, do not book a flight with 15+ travel time. You will be exhausted upon arrival. Aim for a non-stop flight or one stop layover max. 

Icelands weather can get VERY windy in October, flights may be delayed upon departure back to the US (worst case scenario, this was our experience). We recommend giving yourself a day or two grace period to resume back to work or other obligated scheduling, just in case of flight delays or flight cancelation.

Flight insurance is highly recommended. 

We typically search flights through the google flight database, you can also price track the dates and sign up to receive flight notifications about price changes.

Once you purchase your flight, please notify us of your estimated time of arrival so we can arrange an airport pick up time.
